The Vector Output Cannot be Zeroed

Connect the Vector to the Vector Interface app to inspect the cause.

Solutions

  1. Take Vector out of Measuring to reset the output to zero.

The output returns to the set value when Vector is in Scanning. The default value is zero.
To return Vector to Scanning, either:
    • Obscure markings.

    • Reposition Vector away from specimen.

    • Remove specimen from load train.

  2. Set the output to zero on the scaling settings.

The analogue output can be set to the minimum, maximum, and zero positions to aid configuration with the test frame. | Vector will output zero when both the Vector is Scanning and the output is set to the zero position.
See section Scaling the Analogue Output Signal for more information on setting the analogue output to nominal values.
