Measurement Ended Outside of Operating Distance Range

The Vector was positioned where the detected markings moved either too far from, or too near to Vector.

The permitted Operating Distance range extends 250mm to 350mm from Vector.

Considerations

If Measurement ended unexpectedly and this indicator is active, consider the following causes:

1. The Measurement started with Vector close to the limit of the Operating Distance range.

   Check the Vector is positioned correctly.

2. The load-train moved the specimen towards or away from Vector during the start of the test.

   Check that the arrangement of grips and fixtures do not allow excessive travel and that the load train is tight before Measuring.
